Rose adores her kids. Here is a picture she took of Jack and Joan just before her death . Jack is 7 and Joan 4 ( almost 5) .
Rose enters the hospital to undergo a routine hysterectomy for excessive bleeding , the operation is successful , but she dies unexpectedly and suddenly post operatively of a cranial blood clot. She is only 27. Suddenly her children have lost their mom , and San Tong has lost the love of his life . Great joy is replaced with deep sorrow.
Leong Shee now raises her grandchildren. No more photos are taken of the two children until their teenage years.
